When your customers ask ChatGPT, who gets named?

When customers ask ChatGPT who to hire, it answers with names — either yours or a competitor's. Roughly 1 in 3 U.S. adults uses an AI chatbot weekly (Pew Research via iQDigital, 2026). This site does one thing: shows you what five AI engines say about your business right now (free, about a minute) and lays out exactly how to fix what blocks you.

The Problem

The 60-second reality check

Run the free scan. It queries five engines — ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), Grok (xAI), Perplexity — and returns your AIR Score (a trademark of Deep AI Solutions Inc): a 0-100 composite of whether you're mentioned, whether you're recommended, and what the sentiment is.

Calibration for what to expect: our published Houston AI Visibility Index study measured a full metro and found a median score of 31/100. Most businesses are far less visible to AI than they assume.

Why this matters now, not next year

  • Google AI Overviews appear in roughly half of Google searches (D&D SEO Services, 2026) — the answer layer already sits between you and your customers.
  • About 1 in 3 U.S. adults uses an AI chatbot at least weekly (Pew Research via iQDigital, 2026).
  • Searches for "AI SEO" are up 84% year over year; "GEO agency" is up 1,850% (Google Keyword Planner via SEO Strategy study) — your competitors are starting to work on this.
  • For service businesses the stakes compound: home-service companies already miss 27-62% of inbound calls at $275-$1,200 per missed call (Invoca research / Brilo AI, 2026). Being absent from AI answers means calls that never ring at all.

How it works explains the mechanics; why isn't my business showing up in ChatGPT diagnoses the five causes.

After the scan

If your score is strong: congratulations, monitor it — AI answers shift, and pages untouched ~90 days lose citations (iQDigital, 2026). If it isn't, the blockers are mechanical and fixable: Bing indexing (ChatGPT's search answers ground on Bing), FAQ schema (cited ~3x more in AI Overviews), AI-crawler access, answer-first content, entity consistency.

Questions

Straight answers, no jargon

Is the scan really free, and what's the catch?

Free, about a minute, no obligation. The 'catch' is transparent: it's the top of our funnel. Businesses that see a low AIR Score often hire us to fix it — but the scan, the score, and the diagnostic playbooks on this site are free either way. Value first, receipts published, sales second.

Which AI engines does the scan check?

Five: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), Grok (xAI), and Perplexity. Each weighs different signals — ChatGPT's search answers ground on the Bing index, Gemini draws on Google's ecosystem — which is why single-engine checks mislead and the AIR Score measures all five.

What's a good AIR Score?

Context: our published Houston metro study found a median of 31/100 — half of businesses scored 31 or below. Above 50 puts you well ahead of a typical metro business; sustained high scores across all five engines is what the monitoring programs are built to reach and hold.

Can I get found in ChatGPT without paying anyone?

The foundations, yes: allow AI crawlers in robots.txt, verify your site in Bing Webmaster Tools, add FAQ schema, publish plain-language pages that answer real customer questions, keep content fresh. This site's answer pages walk through each. The managed programs exist for the sustained engineering and five-engine measurement most businesses don't have time to run.

Who runs this site?
